We organised the first Crowdfunding Convention in Zagreb in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme in Croatia (UNDP) and the Cooperative for Ethical Financing (ZEF)

The Zagreb Crowdfunding Convention was attended by some of the most important names in the field of crowdfunding at the time, such as the vice-president of the Indiegogo platform Liz Wald, and the director of that platform for Europe Anastasia Emmanuel; leader of that scene in Slovenia and editor of the crowdfunding.si portal Luka Piškorić and initiators of numerous successful crowdfunding campaigns – Mihovil Barančić (Help Build Animal Shelter), Yves Taquet (Goulash Disko Festival), Anže Miklavec (Goat Mug) and many others. Apart from exchanging knowledge and experiences about the preparation and implementation of the crowdfunding campaign, the participants also tried to find solutions to obstacles in the further development of crowdfunding in Croatia and the region. At the convention 13 local projects that attended the Crowdfunding Academy had the opportunity to present themselves.
